As we approach 20 years of serving West Michigan, we’re reflecting on where we’ve been and looking ahead to where we’re going.
 
Building Bridges Professional Services is now B2 Grounds Management, a name that honors our history while more clearly reflecting who we are, what we do, and our vision for the next 20 years.
 
While our name is changing, our commitment to strong relationships, intentional partnerships, reliable service, and growing business, people, and community remains the same.

Our Start

B2 Grounds Management (formerly Building Bridges Professional Services) was founded in 2007 with a vision of providing meaningful work opportunities to residents living in the 49507 zip code. In order to fulfill this vision, we paired individuals with trained professionals in the home remodeling, lawn care and landscape industries. This model has proved to uplift the community and provide excellent customer service and the highest quality work for our customers. It has been instrumental in the growth of Building Bridges as a highly competitive local business, which also functions with a vision for the city.

In addition to the values which include: radically impressive interactions, continuous improvement and extreme ownership, we are held to a very high standard of performance and measurable outcomes for each bottom line.

Partnering with our Community

In 2015 Building Bridges joined a collaborative called the Grand Rapids Center for Community Transformation (GRCCT) to accelerate its vision and mission to provide high-quality services at affordable prices for local residents. Building Bridges is also committed to hiring local residents to give back to the community in any way we can. This collaboration has built a team of highly-trained professionals working with a deep passion for success and quality work.

Join us in creating opportunities for transformation!

Building Bridges Professional Services is a founding member of the Grand Rapids Center for Community Transformation. We work closely with our nonprofit partners to provide low- to no-cost services such as lawn mowing and snow removal to aging homeowners in Grand Rapids and throughout Kent County. We currently provide these services to more than 200 seniors each year, but many more need our help.
